Budgets Made Easier
We use Budgyt to complete our annual operating budget. It's user-friendly, and I like the ability to share the budget with other managers.
- Incorporates formulas for wages/cost of sales
- Easy to compare periods, forecasts w/ actual, budget w/ actual, etc
- Can easily send budgets to department managers
- The video library is great
- Downloading detailed reports takes a long time

We use Quickbooks for our accounting software, where we pay per user. Budgets were cumbersome because they were built within multiple spreadsheets, all of which fed into a master sheet. Formulas would get deleted, and trying to share the information with our finance committee and board was tedious. Budgyt allows access to anyone we give access to create budgets within their department, view monthly financial info, and forecast upcoming months. No more formatting monthly reports for each department!
- Allows for multiple users to access budgets, financials and forecasting
- Calculates payroll automatically for forecasting and salary increases
- Allows users to leave notes on variances or other pertinent information for others to view
- Easily compare data from prior years with current year.
- Budgyt allows for formulas to be set up to calculate different data, but understanding how to set up a formula has been difficult
- Tracking item codes from Quickbooks is tedious, so we stopped reporting by item codes in Budgyt due to the extra work
- I would like to see more ad hoc reporting

Budgyt is great for Budgets!
Our organization uses the Budgyt Software in order to create a yearly budget that has 50 plus accounts to monitor throughout the year. The product has assisted me with being able to create a budget with ease as our company was using an outdated excel spreadsheet that was not user friendly.
- The software provides ease in making edits and changes while working with many scenarios that can be created within the platform.
- The visualizations are extremely helpful for presentations.
- Provides recorded training sessions to review at any time when learning the software
- Creating a symbol to click on to import from the software to the Desktop version of QuickBooks
Budgyt was adopted as our primary platform of choice for financial reporting and analysis. It was selected initially in order to implement a more sophisticated budget tool than Excel, and quickly became the obvious go-to solution for forecasting, analysis, and routine reporting. Problems addressed include: Limited/non-user-friendly access to financal data & clear,
legible reports are now easily distributed/accessible to our non-finance team
members, saving time for both finance & non-finance staff, and eliminating
questions arising from lack of clarity/version control in distribution of
financial info. The easy-to-use & understand format of Budgyt helps keep
things consistent. And most notably, the processes of budgetting and
forecasting have been completely revamped to work with the Budgyt platform
(from old manual, Excel-based processes).

Budgyt is an Excellent product
We use Budgyt for our monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Our general ledger is QuickBooks Online, which doesn't provide out of the box functionality for forecasting and variance reporting.

Great User-interface for ERP for Non-Financial leaders
Budgyt provides a user-friendly interface for the financial data within our ERP (Microsoft Dynamics GP). It provides a self-service approach for our leaders to look at financial data (comparison of actual to Budget, projection, prior year, etc.) and then be able to drill down into the detail that supports those numbers without having to rely on the Finance Team for analysis.

We use Budgyt to manage our budgeting process in Budgyt and ensure that budget managers know their spending compared to their budget every month. We also use the platform for each budget manager to build their annual budget as an organization. Our organization leaders also leverage the platform to determine budget spending and allowances.

The solution is extremely user-friendly and packed with powerful features such as scenario-based data modeling, segregation capability, Xero integration, SAML 2.0 authentication support, and so on. Aileen Zelekowitz, our implementation consultant, was fantastic throughout the implementation phase, gathering requirements, leading workshops, and assisting us in configuring the system.

Budgyt is useful for importing
organizational data like trial balances, monthly profit and loss statements,
balance sheets, and other financial information.
Budgyt allows you to design the
pieces of the organization's budget structure, as well as link them
hierarchically.
The budget is customizable to
contain budget formulas, estimate direct and indirect expenses, and operate
and non-operating income.

Budgyt - Affordable and easy to use!
We use Budgyt to maintain our Actuals vs. budget/forecast variance analysis. We also allow transparency for budget owners to see their P&Ls and the details behind it. We use the exports and imports to derive further reporting when needed. The product is very easy to use and almost every product enhancement has been exactly what we needed to make the experience even better.

Answer to my prayers!!
As a nonprofit, I have 6 business managers who provide variance reports in Budgyt. We use Quickbooks and then export actual data to Budgyt, which houses our annual budget. The budgets are created by each manager and they are held to any variances. They then use these variances as one of their tools in setting the next year's budget...

- Comparison to previous year...budget or actual
- Rolling up or expanding the data based on the audience
- Automatic import or export for Quickbooks Desktop...but this is coming very soon!!

Budgyt continues its ongoing improvements!
Our management team of at least a dozen people use it for annual fiscsal budgeting and monthly operational variance analysis against budget. We upload each of our five company QuickBooks files into Budgyt each month, and can easily view consolidated or department and/or company views. Budget is easy to train newbies on, and managers become "owners" of their financials, supported by this product.
- Ease of use
- Training typically takes 45 minutes with newbies
- monthly variance analysis rocks with Budgyt!
- Manual upload of QuickBooks is a bit kludgy
- We would like to see consolidated Balance sheets...I believe they are working on this.
- We would like to see budgeted and operational statements of cashflows, and I believe they are working on this too.
